Featured in the August 2022 issue of Modern Rodding this car was built from a fairly straight yellow ‘Cuda with black vinyl roof. Today it features a 6.2L Hellcrate supercharged gen III v-8 that features an iron block, aluminum heads and 700+ horsepower! We built custom headers from 1-7/8″ stainless that collects to 3″ exhaust with a pair of Black Widow Mufflers. A Tremec Magnum 6-speed trans delivers power through a McCleod clutch with a walnut pistol-grip shifter delivering power to the massive 20″ Schott wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires.
The lines on the car were sharpened in the typical Cambra way and sprayed with PPG Black. The stock hood was fitted with the “shaker” hood scoop. The interior is kept to it’s original design with modern features including black leather instead of the stock vinyl and Dakota Digital gauges.
